Once again CES 2011 material was missed and of course, it’s a tablet we’re talking about. The Evolve III Maestro was spotted at Intel’s booth and what’s really interesting about this device is that it runs Android, Windows 7 and MeeGo, making it a triple boot slate.
Inside there’s an 1.83GHz Atom N475 CPU, that will be replaced with a dual-core Oak Trail processor starting from Q2 2011. TabletPCBuzz claims that Windows 7 and Android get 8 and 16 hours of battery on the device, thanks to the Oak Trail chip. This unit is supposed to weigh less than two pounds and its screen is a 10.1 inch display, with a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution.
Other feats are 2GB of DDR3 RAM, up to 32GB SSD storage, 3G connectivity and support for WiFi 802.11 b/g/n. The price point is around $500, for the original version, while the Oak Trail one will cost an extra $100. Here’s a video detailing the device.
