Advent Vega Receives Update, Now Includes Flash Support

Although Advent Vega is an Android machine, that strangely enough wasn’t capable of Flash, because of some licensing issues between Adobe and the slate’s maker. Long story short, the Froyo device is now capable of Flash, although there are units out there without this feature. Well, the tablet’s maker now offers an OS update to version 1.09, that brings Flash support.

You can get the needed software as a direct download from the Advent Vega site, or you can wait a bit longer, till next week. The product’s maker promised a soft update that won’t wipe everything on the device. We remind you that the product is sold by PC World for 249 pounds and it comes with 512MB RAM, 512MB NAND, a 4GB microSD card and Nvidia Tegra 2.
