Samsung Russia has just confirmed that it’ll be selling the Galaxy Tab slate locally starting today. The device goes for 36,990 rubles, which translates to $1,228, a tad pricey, even for the unlocked version of the Android 2.2 tablet. Galaxy Tab is already available in Germany and it’ll reach the UK on November 1st.
In the meantime, you can test the slate for free for two days in London and if you wait a bit longer, you’ll get some new info and possibly a launch date for the next Galaxy Tab (just saying).
