One would say that porting HTC Sense to a Samsung device would be brilliant, some would say crazy, but I say… go for it! We’re talking about the HTC Flyer ROM, that when ported to the Samsung Galaxy Tab, it will bring HTC Sense 3.0 the single slate that rivaled the iPad last year.
The thing these two tablets have in common is the screen resolution: 600 x 1024 and also this port would bring Android 2.3 Gingerbread on the Galaxy Tab finally. XDA Developers are already working on this, using the leaked image dump here. In the meantime you can console yourself with the HTCSense Theme with LauncherPro, emulating the Sense experience pretty well.
Let’s see what happens in the following weeks, as I have a feeling that Galaxy Tab owners will have reason to be happy soon.
