iPad 2 Camera Versus the One on Motorola Xoom and Acer Iconia Tab A500 (Video)

Well, the iPad 2 may have the most appealing price tag when compared to other new tablets, but does its camera face the challenge? LaptopMag seems to have the answer, as they’ve done a video recording test, that some claim to use an unfair advantage for the iPad 2. The Apple slate is compared to the Motorola Xoom and Acer’s Iconia Tab A500.

Turns out that although on paper the iPad 2 has the worst camera of the bunch (0.92MP compared to the Xoom and Iconia’s 5 megapixel sensor), actually the Apple product handles video recording the best. The still photos are better on the Android tablets and some say that the iPad 2 deliberately had to film less sky, so it had an advantage…

It’s best that you watch the video below and decide for yourselves… For me, the iPad 2 catches brighter footage and more vivid colours, that’s all…
