MWC 2011: Huawei Ideos S7 Detailed, Runs Android 2.1 (Video)

We know that Huawei Ideos S7 is a tablet that’s “so last year”, but since we took the S7 Slim for a spin, we’ll also show you this unit, for comparison sake. The device comes with a 7 inch TFT touchscreen, with a 800 x 480 pixel resolution and we have no idea when Honeycomb will arrive on it, if ever.

The slate runs Android 2.1 for now and we’re shown its kickstand, its microSD slot and the front and back side of the device. We know that there’s a 2200 mAh battery inside and that the product supports HSPA connectivity, incorporates stereo speakers and uses a 2MP camera. Multitasking and 720p media playback are also available, plus WiFi connectivity.

This tablet weighs 500 grams and measures 15.5mm in thickness.
