Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Reaches the FCC

Boy, isn’t it fun to work for the FCC? They played with the iPad 2 a couple of days ago and now they get to have fun with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. The product has just been approved by the Federal Communications Commission, so carriers are probably getting ready to welcome it in their portofolios.

Having seen this unit in action in MWC 2011, we can tell you it’s a great iPad challenger and possibly the tablet with the best camera out there (an 8 megapixel sensor with autofocus, plus a 2MP front camera, as well). The device weighs 599 grams, supports HSPA+ 21Mbps connectivity and uses a dual core 1GHz CPU.
