Vaio Slider Tablet and New Slim Notebook Teased at The End of Sony Honeycomb Tablet Event

Well, the Sony S1 and S2 Android tablet event this week wasn’t entirely about the PlayStation-supporting slates, since at the end of the presentation that was a tiny teaser for the two products pictured below. These are the Ultra Mobile PC and the Freestyle Hybrid PC. The latter is rumored to be the Sony Vaio Slider.

Supposedly, the Vaio Slider is a Windows 7 tablet with a 9.4 inch display Pine Trail Atom processor and a $799 price tag. We expect the product to be released in October, while the other model, the Ultra Mobile PC might pack a bigger screen, maybe over 13 inches in diagonal. No other details or specs were made available, aside from the pics and the speculations that followed…
