ASUS Eee Pad Transformer International Launch Hit by Delays, Because of High Demand

ASUS has been apologizing recently for the delay of the international release of its Eee Pad Transformer slate. Such delays will only take place in certain countries and they’re blamed on the fact that the initial product batches sold out faster than estimated. The U.S. launch will proceed as planned and the Honeycomb device should arrive at the end of April.

ASUS recommends that you access its Facebook pages for each country in order to get more info on the local release of the Eee Pad Transformer. If you want an US price for this tablet, know that it starts from $399 and for this amount of money you get a dual core Tegra 2 device with a 10 inch multitouch display, a 5 megapixel camera and 1GB of RAM.

Also, you’ll be paying $149 for the keyboard dock that comes with the Eee Pad Transformer, in case you were wondering. Sounds pretty appealing to me…
