Bridgestone Tablets are BIG, Show Off Their 21 Inch Screens Here (Video)

Bridgestone’s got a series of tablets called the AeroBee, with the main attribute they sport being the 21 inch display, which is huge in the slate world. Actually, this is double the size of the Motorola Xoom, if you can imagine that. Of course, such a device is not practical for portable use, but that’s what the maker of the unit is aiming for.

This is a product based on color electronic paper technology and it will be used for commercial purposes. Bridgestone wants to install these in airports, trains, offices and maybe bars to replace the chalkboard menu, for example. Well, such a huge slate could be useful when commuting, I’ll give you that, but NOT in your hand…
