Xperia Tab7 Light is a Dual Core Android 2.3 Tablet

As strange as it would seem to see Sony Ericsson launching an Android 2.3 tablet, this could still happen… No one expected HTC to do such a thing and still they did… Well, the equivalent of the Flyer here is the Xperia Tab7 Light, a concept created by Andro Gama.

This device can be seen as a large Walkman player, if you want, one that comes with a 12.1mm case, 8 megapixel camera, Android 2.3 Gingerbread and HD video playback. It also has a micro HDMI port, Walkman media player, Facebook integration, WiFi and HSDPA. What’s really interesting is that the creator of the device claims this is a 3D tablet, thanks to a modern display.

AS far as design goes, this looks like a bigger touchscreen Walkman phone and the rounded upper and lower side are certainly a premiere in the tablet world. With the Sony S1 and S2 tablets out there, is there really a need for such a device? What do you say?

Nokia 10 Inch Tablet Packs a 3D Camera

It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything about a Nokia tablet, unless you count those WeTab Tabco rumors… Now we have a 10 inch slate with Nokia branding, the creation of Gregory Pizzatto and a mere concept right now.

Gregory created a Nokia tablet with a 3D camera at the back, that relies on a dual photo/video sensor. The slate comes with a black piano finish or a silver one and it’s pretty strange to see iOS action the screen, in an old version of the platform no less. The speakers are also pretty badly rendered on the back side, but the camera is believable.

The interesting part is that segment with a virtual keyboard, that actually looks interesting and original. Will the real deal be close to this concept?
