Amazon Discounts LG Thrill 4G, HTC Inspire 4G to $30

The LG Thrill 4G has been available for just a little while and Amazon has already got a good deal on it waiting for you. They’re willing to part ways with the device for $30 as long as you sign a new two-year contract. Both new and existing users can get in on this for both individual accounts and new users can get the deal for family accounts.

For an existing user on a family count AT&T’s asking for $70 but that’s still quite the steal for a dual-core 3D phone. Amazon has also posted a similar deal for the very solid HTC Inspire 4G. Check them out here and here and see if you can’t walk away happy.

No, your eyes are not deceiving you. The mysteriously delayed LG Thrill 4G has finally landed for sale at AT&T. And your eyes aren’t deceiving you on the $99 price tag either. That’s the cost after a new two-year contract is signed. The Thrill 4G — otherwise known as the Optimus 3D — features a dual-core CPU at 1GHz, a 4.3-inch display glasses-free 3D display, and a pair of 5MP cameras around the rear synced for 3D video capture. AT&T subscribers, if you’ve been jealous of Sprint users with their fancy EVO 3D, here’s your chance to shine.

AT&T LG Thrill Pricing and Launch Date Revealed

This image has no alt text

BGR is reporting that America’s second 3D capable handset, the LG Thrill, will be launching this Sunday, September 4th on AT&T. If you thought you would have to pay a premium just to get your hands on glasses-free 3D, we’ve also learned that the device will only cost you $100 on a 2-year contract. Not too shabby for a device with a 1Ghz dual-core, Texas Instruments OMAP443o at the helm. Other specs include a 4.3-inch 3D screen, 5MP camera and 512MB of dual-channel RAM for added speed. What do you guys think? Is this phone still on anyone’s radar?

AT&T Confirms LG Thrill 4G for September 4th

With no press release in sight (yet) AT&T’s gone and made the LG Thrill 4G’s launch date official. They’ve asked users to tell them how their worlds will come alive on September 4th. We’ve been waiting quite a long time for this thing (since March, if you haven’t been keeping track) and we’re glad to see they’re finally comfortable to release it. It’s not a bad phone as it has 4.3 inch display, a TI OMAP4 dual-core processor, a 5 megapixel camera with HD video recording and more. And we also can’t forget the very feature it’s famous for – autostereoscopic 3D. Still no price, but Target is rumored to be offering it for just $80 once it does launch. Who’s going to get their hands on this one? [AT&T Twitter]

LG Thrill 4G Appears in Target Ad, Priced at $79

Though the LG Thrill 4G has been delayed and delayed again, it looks like some retailers still believe it will be released sometime soon. Target has posted the glasses-free 3D big boy up in a recent ad, touting a low price of only $79.99 after signing a two-year agreement. The phone was originally slated for an early August release, and RadioShack even began taking pre-orders for the handset that still remains without an announced release date. The reason for the continual setback remains a mystery.

Back in July, LG handed out at least 100 action-ready Thrill 4G handsets for use in filming a 3D concert documentary. We were in attendance and had some hands-on time with the phone. There was nothing glaringly pre-release about it. Considering the phone is identical to the Optimus 3D, which has been out in other regions of the world for some time now, it is hard to believe the delay could be hardware or software related. If this Target ad is any indication, we could be days away from finding out just when the Thrill 4G will be hitting shelves.

AT&T LG Thrill 4G Delayed Again According To Leaked Screenshot

This image has no alt text

About 3 weeks ago we told you about AT&T delaying the LG Thrill 4G until August 21st according to a leaked RadioShack screenshot. Although an official launch date was ever announced, it seems as if the LG Thrill will be receiving another unofficial delay, this time finding itself pushed back until Sept. 4th.

Once again this information comes to us via a leaked screenshot from The Shack and while we’re not entirely sure why the device continues to get placed on the back burner, technically it’s still on schedule for LG’s vague “summer release” date. Anyone disappointed by this news?

LG ‘Thrill 3D’ Hits the Pages of Best Buy’s Buyer’s Guide

Though the phone has been delayed until the end of the month, the LG Thrill 4G has appeared in the pages of August’s Best Buy Buyer’s Guide, a good sign for those looking forward to the glasses-free 3D handset. The upcoming phone is actually listed as the LG Thrill 3D, a name that highlights its unique feature set, though it is unclear if this is a conscious decision or simple typo. Along with the image comes word of a pre-order for the handset, which should begin soon at Best Buy. For the unaware, the Thrill 4G is set to be AT&T’s unchanged version of the LG Optimus 3D, complete with dual-core CPU, 4.3-inch display, and dual 5MP cameras for capturing 3D content. Current rumors have the Thrill 4G poised for an August 21st launch.

Leaked Radio Shack Memo Shows LG Thrill Delayed Til The End of August

This image has no alt text

Looks like the LG Thrill may be delayed before an official release date was ever announced. My good friend Jerry, from AndroidCentral, posted a leaked internal memo from The Shack showing the LG Thrill has been pushed back to August 21st. Originally, it was rumored that the Thrill would launch on August 7th but doesn’t look like that’s going to be happening.

As usual with authorized retailers, this could be a Radio Shack only delay but judging by the wording in the memo, sounds more like an overall AT&T thing. Could the delay have something to do with the Samsung Attain that passed through the FCC yesterday? Guess we’ll find out soon enough!
