HTC Puccini LTE Headed to Canada Courtesy of Rogers

This image has no alt text

When Rogers unveiled its new Canadian 4G LTE network, they made mention of an upcoming “tablet from a leading manufacturer.” Initial speculation pointed towards the LTE version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, but a newly leaked internal document suggests the HTC Puccini LTE could also be on the schedule. The Puccini recently touched down in the US as the HTC Jetstream for AT&T, a network operating on wireles frequencies not uncommon to Canadian carriers. Whether the name will remain Puccini, Jetstream, or something entirely different isn’t clear.

Release timing and pricing is not mentioned, as the document is more focused on discussing the launch of an On Demand video application for tablets. Also confirmed in the document is the Rogers release of the Acer Iconia Tab.

The process is as easy as pie and while HTC may have your device information on file in regards to your warranty being void, it’s a worry-free alternative if the community-developed method scares you.
