Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1: The weirdest tab accessory yet – a bike

Yep, a bike
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1: The weirdest tab accessory yet - a bike

When you buy a new tablet you have to consider which accessories you're going to need to fork out for too, to get the complete experience.

You'll probably need a case of some sort, to stop it getting damaged. A stand is a good idea if you want to use it on your desk. Bluetooth keyboards are also handy if you're planning on using your tab for a bit of office action.

What you probably haven't considered is a "custom made road bike and top of the range tablet holder".

But that's exactly what Samsung has on offer for owners of its Honeycomb boasting Galaxy Tab 10.1

"Demonstrating the Galaxy Tab 10.1’s 'lighter for performance' ethos the Tab holder is designed by F1 manufacturers, is?super light at 125g and is complete with a super strong premium finish," read the release statement.

"Accessible from the side, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 holder allows for the device to be used easily whilst on the move. Applications such as dashboards tracking mileage, route planners and repair instructions for punctures, can be downloaded from the Android Marketplace to enhance everyday cycling routes or more adventurous trips – a handy addition for any cyclist."

Yes, it really did say "on the move". Cycling and tableting on the go - it's a new one for us.

Don't get us wrong, we love the Galaxy Tab 10.1 as it's an awesome device. But we're not going to risk smashing the screen to smithereens by having it hanging from our bike's top tube.

But hey, everyone's different so if you are interested the bespoke Samsung Galaxy bike and Tab 10.1 holder can be made to order by 14 Bike Co.
