Three, the UK mobile phone operator, has announced it is to bring a unknown Android powered tablet to the UK, offering its customers an alternative to the Samsung Galaxy Tab.

Rather than opt for one of the dozens of new tablets announced at CES at the beginning of January, the company has opted for the Linx Commtiva N700.

Not to be mistaken with the Nokia N tablet range, Three describe the new tablet by saying:

“This great value Android tablet is bursting with stuff to keep you organised and entertained. Use it as your phone, computer, satnav, mp3 player, photo album and more. Also featuring an amazing touchscreen and the latest Google services”.

What’s it ?bursting with? Well specs listed include a 7-inch touchscreen, Android 2.2 (Froyo), a 3-megapixel camera, 4GB microSD card, 3.5mm audio jack and mini USB for charging.

The N700 has built in Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), 3G (SIM card required), Bluetooth (2.1 + EDR) allowing you to get connected and remain connected wherever you are all the time.

Built-in GPS (with GPS assist) and E-compass can be used with Google Maps for real time navigation and location.

No word as yet as to when the new tablet will be available or how much it will cost, however Amazon is selling the tablet without contract for ?329.?

We are waiting to hear from Three as to what packages the new tablet will be available on.?

  1. I believe this is among the so much important info for me. And i’m satisfied reading your article. Want to know more about Cheapest kamagra online?

  2. What you said a lot of sense. Nevertheless, think about this, what if you offered a little bit more? What i’m saying is, I don’t tend to tell you ways to run ur blog, but if you added something which can get peoples particular attention? Just as a video or possibly a photo or few to have your readers excited about what youve got to say.
