LG Optimus Pad Ready for Debut at MWC 2011

Today’s hot events in the pre-MWC 2011 conferences include the debut of a hot new Samsung tablet and smartphone, plus the showcasing of 3 LG Optimus handsets (Optimus Black, Optimus 3D and Optimus 2X), plus the Optimus Pad slate. Initially dubbed the T-Mobile G-Slate, the LG Optimus Pad is a 8.9 inch tablet, that gets detailed below.

This device runs Android 3.0 Honeycomb and uses an Nvidia Tegra 2 dual core processor, but the most appealing aspect is certainly the built-in 3D camera, able to capture image and video content. Optimus Pad supports a 1280 x 768 WXGA resolution and full HD 1080p decoding. We’ll be back with more info, once the official events kick off.
