Samsung has announced the availability of a free entertainment package worth ?200 for anyone buying a Samsung Galaxy Tab before Christmas.

Admittedly pretty pricey for a Christmas present, if you're thinking of forking out the ?400-odd for the new Android tablet then you'll be pleased to hear that a load of free music, movies, games and ebooks will be bundled in with the device.

Simon Stanford, managing director, Mobile, Samsung UK and Ireland said: “We’ve used our strategic partnerships with leading brands to put together an entertainment package that will let people enjoy the Galaxy Tab straight away. We’re committed to offering the best entertainment experience as well as the best value and we wanted to give our customers even more to enjoy when they open a Galaxy Tab this Christmas”.

The package includes a choice of 50 MP3s from eMusic, 15 movies from Samsung Movies including Sex and the City 2, seven games developed and adapted by Gameloft for the 7-inch device and five ebooks of your choice from WHSmith’s best-seller list.

To redeem the entertainment package worth ?200, consumers simply log on to www.samsung.com/uk/galaxytab and enter their unique code found in their Galaxy Tab box.
