ASUS Eee Pad Slider SL101 Priced at 479 Euro, Coming in September (Video)

Finally we have an idea on the European prices for the Asus Eee Pad Slider SL101 tablet, the twin of the Asus Eee Pad Transformer tablet. It turns out that the newer model will cost about 479 euros and it will come in September.

The Eee Pad Slider is supposed to reach the UK in august and as far as the rest of the continent goes, you get two versions of the unit: 16GB at 479 euros and 32 GB at 599 euros. It’s not yet clear whether or not the pricier version also bundles a 3G mode, but that would be welcome. We remind you that this is a dual core 1GHz tablet, with 1GB of RAM and a 10 inch IPS display with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution.

There’s a video below detailing the product, that also packs a HDMI (mini) port, a USB 2.0 one a microSDHC card reader. As far as cameras go, there’s a main 5MP one and a front 1.2MP one. This model runs Honeycomb 3.1.
